How to create your own music chart
Making a personal music chart should be simple. Here is a practical way to do it with a dedicated chart maker instead of juggling spreadsheets.
1. Pick your format
Decide how many positions you want—Top 10, Top 20, Top 40, or a dynamic list up to 100. Your chart, your rules: the tool should adapt to you, not the other way around.
2. Add songs with artist names
Each row is a position, with artist and title. Optional music URLs (for example Spotify) help you export or open tracks later. Accuracy matters if you want clean stats and year-end overviews.
3. Set the chart date
Weekly charts are tied to a date so you can build history week by week. Save when you are ready; you can update or import older weeks anytime.
4. Build history over time
Paste text, upload a CSV, or copy from a previous week. The goal is one place where every week lives—so you can see trends, favourites, and artist stats without rebuilding lists by hand.
