Changelog

Product updates for MyTopCharts.com.

September 4, 2026

  • Shortlist — save tips for next week’s chart on the new Shortlist page (including featuring, second main artist, and remixer credits). Songs appear at the top of autofill suggestions on New Chart, with those credits filled in. Optional automatic cleaning (after new chart, 2 weeks, or 1 month).

August 15, 2026

  • Artist images — artist detail pages now show a round Spotify cover photo on wider screens, based on the most common Music URL for that artist.

August 3, 2026

  • Speed optimizations — faster loading for the Top 30, chart stats, homepage, and related pages.
  • Follow charts — follow other users’ public charts, browse Top 5s on Followed charts, and discover charts via Find charts to follow. MyTopCharts Top 30 is included by default.

August 1, 2026

  • Autofill Music URLs — when creating a new chart, MyTopCharts can fill Music URLs from the most common Spotify links used by other users. Turn it on under Settings → New Chart editor.
  • Top 30 Spotify playlist — follow the weekly MyTopCharts Top 30 playlist from the Top 30 page.

July 31, 2026

  • Songs that left — songs that dropped off your chart now appear directly under your weekly chart, historic charts, and the MyTopCharts Top 30.
  • Peak at #1 — when a song spends more than one week at number one, weekly charts now show how many weeks it peaked at #1 (for example PEAK: 1 (x3)).
  • Donate — added a donate button in the account menu.

July 22, 2026

  • Song detail — song titles are now clickable on your charts and stats pages. Open a track to see its chart run: peak position, total weeks, total points, a position history graph, a weekly table, and CSV export.

July 20, 2026

  • Top 30 — the MyTopCharts global hitlist now shows 30 songs instead of 20. Positions #21–#30 follow the same rules as #1–#20. The separate Tip Parade has been removed.
  • Top 30 URL — the global hitlist now lives at global-top-30.php (old global-top-20.php links redirect).

July 13, 2026

July 9, 2026

  • Combine artists — under Settings, link artist names that refer to the same act (for example after a name change). Your charts keep the original spelling each week; statistics such as Favourite Artists and artist detail pages count them as one artist.
  • Remixers — when adding tracks to your chart, you can add one or more remixers via the plus icon next to the Artist field (choose rmx). A remix icon appears behind the song title in charts; click it to see the remixer(s). Remixers also count in artist stats.

June 28, 2026

  • Co-main artists — when adding tracks to your chart, you can add a second main artist with the & option next to the plus icon (for example Artist & Second Artist - Song). Co-main artists count in stats like the primary artist.
  • New Search & Replace page — find a song across all your weekly and custom charts and update artist, co-main or featuring artists, title, and music URL in one go.
  • Album chart maker — on Create new custom chart, choose Albums to rank full albums (with Spotify album URLs supported).

June 26, 2026

  • Featuring artists — when adding tracks to your chart, you can now add one or more featuring artists. Click the plus icon next to the Artist field. Featuring artists also count in artist stats, favourite artists, awards, and more.
  • Want to fix your historic charts? Use the new Fix Featurings page under your account name in the menu.

June 8, 2026

  • Spotify cover art on public charts now loads for songs outside the top 25 as well.
  • MyTopCharts Top 20 bundles the same song when it appears under different artist or title spellings (for example feat. variants).
  • MyTopCharts Top 20 shows a popularity bar instead of raw points.

May 31, 2026

  • Embed your public chart on any website — on your dashboard, open Export & Share, choose Embed chart, and copy the iframe code into your site. The embed shows the same chart as your public page, without buttons or chart insights.
