How do I create a chart?
Sign in with Google or create an account with email and password. Go to New Chart, choose your chart size (10, 20, 50, or more), add songs with artist names and optional Spotify URLs, and save.
Is MyTopCharts free?
Yes. MyTopCharts is not a commercial company. It is a passion project from one music chart fan to another, and it will stay free.
How do I create an account?
Why do I need to log in?
We ask you to sign in so we can protect your charts and personal data. Only you should be able to create, edit, and view your private charts. You can
create an account with email and password, or
log in with Google. We recommend Google because you can use two-factor authentication (2FA) on your Google account for extra security.
Can I create a yearly or one-off chart instead of a weekly chart?
Yes. Open
Custom charts in the menu under your account name (or go straight to
Create new custom chart). There you can build yearly lists, all-time favourites, or any one-off chart, with top sizes up to 500, optional Last.fm import, and a shareable public link. You can create as many custom charts as you like.
Can I create an album music chart?
Yes. On
Create new custom chart, set
Type to
Albums and rank full albums instead of singles. Enter artist and album title for each position, and optionally paste a Spotify album URL (
https://open.spotify.com/album/…) for cover art and playback. See the

How do I show cover art in my chart?
Paste a full Spotify track link into the Music URL field when you add or edit a chart. The link should start with https://open.spotify.com/track/. On desktop, MyTopCharts loads the cover art from that link. In Spotify, use Share → Copy link to track for an open.spotify.com URL. Short spotify.link links are not supported.
Can I use YouTube or other Music URLs?
Yes. Any URL works, but Spotify and YouTube links enrich your chart. Spotify URLs show album art. YouTube URLs let you watch embedded music videos when you click the play icon. Your YouTube URL should start with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=.
Can I import data from a CSV file?
Yes. When creating a new chart, you can import a CSV file with columns for position, artist name, song title, and Spotify URL (optional).
Can I import from Last.fm?
Yes. Connect your Last.fm account in
Settings. On
Create New Chart, choose your chart size and pick Last.fm from the import dropdown to fill your chart with your most scrobbled tracks from last week. On custom charts, you can import longer periods too.
How does the yearly overview work?
The yearly overview calculates points for each song based on its position in your weekly charts. Higher positions earn more points, so you can see which songs performed best throughout the year.
Can I track artist statistics?
Yes. Click any artist name in your charts to see detailed statistics, including total weeks in chart, total points, highest position, and their top songs.
Can I add more than one main artist and featuring artists?
Yes. When you
add a track, click the plus icon next to the Artist field. Choose
ft. to add featuring artists (shown as
(ft. …) after the song title), or
& to add a co-main artist on the artist line (for example
Artist & Second Artist - Song). Both count in
artist stats and favourites. Already have featuring names inside old song titles? Use
Fix Featurings under your account menu.
Is my data private?
Yes. In
Settings, you can choose whether your chart is public or private. If you choose public, you can share your weekly music chart with the world,
